Shipping and Delivery

This sauna ships by LTL freight due to its size and weight. ALEKO lists an estimated 7–20 business day transit time for LTL shipments after the order is processed. Orders are generally processed within 12–24 hours, Monday through Friday.

Free shipping is available within the contiguous United States, although additional charges may apply for certain rural delivery locations. A residential or business delivery address is required, and ALEKO does not ship large orders to PO boxes.

Because this is a large freight shipment, customers should plan ahead for delivery access and for moving the sauna components from the delivery point to the installation area. Installation is not included, and the sauna is designed for on-site assembly.

More Than Just the Sauna Shell

The Liatris arrives with the details needed to complete the experience, including sauna stones, a wooden bucket and scoop, sand timer, thermo-hygrometer, lighting, and weather-resistant roof shingles. That means fewer major accessories to source separately before your first session.

Care and Maintenance

Regular care helps protect the wood, manage moisture, and keep the sauna performing properly over time.

For the exterior, ALEKO recommends applying an exterior wood stain only to the outside surfaces. The interior wood should remain untreated. Roof debris such as leaves, dirt, and branches should also be cleared periodically to help protect the shingles and reduce moisture buildup.

After each sauna session, ALEKO recommends allowing the interior to dry thoroughly by running the heater for a short drying cycle, leaving the door slightly open, keeping the vents open, removing wet towels, and wiping down damp benches.

For deeper care, clean benches and interior walls with a mild sauna-safe cleaner, keep ventilation openings clear, and address mold or moisture issues promptly.

Returns, Damage & Order Issues

Please inspect the shipment carefully when it arrives. For LTL freight deliveries, visible damage should be noted on the delivery receipt before signing. If the crate or packaging arrives damaged, you may refuse the shipment. If you accept a damaged shipment, make sure the damage is documented on the delivery paperwork.

If the packaging looks fine but concealed damage is discovered after opening the crate, ALEKO requires that it be reported within 3 business days of delivery with photographic evidence. ALEKO also requires the damage to be reported to the freight carrier within 24 hours, with a copy forwarded to ALEKO.

For returns, ALEKO offers a 30-day return window from the date of delivery. Buyer’s-remorse returns must be unused and in the same condition received, and the customer is responsible for return shipping. A 15% restocking fee may apply if the product is not returned in its original condition.

If the product arrives damaged or defective, ALEKO may provide replacement parts or a replacement unit. If the issue cannot be resolved with replacement parts, ALEKO states that a new unit, refund, or store credit may be available depending on the situation.

Do not refuse delivery for reasons unrelated to documented damage. Refused freight may be subject to return shipping charges and other applicable fees.

ALEKO’s manual specifically calls for another person to help hold the rear glass-window frame during installation. The heater and electrical components should be handled by a qualified electrician.
