Shipping and Delivery

The Firefly 48" x 32" Rectangular Fire Pit ships by freight directly to your delivery address. Freight is included in the product price, so there is no additional shipping charge within the contiguous United States.

Before signing for the shipment, inspect the packaging and fire pit carefully for visible freight damage. Do not accept a shipment with obvious damage. Photos should also be taken before the carrier leaves whenever possible.

Tracking or freight information will be provided once the order ships. Because these fire pits are built and prepared to order, delivery timing may vary depending on current production volume.

Typical lead time: approximately 3 weeks during slower periods and up to 5 weeks during busier production periods.

For residential freight deliveries, the carrier may contact you in advance to coordinate a delivery appointment.

The Firefly enclosure is built around a welded aluminum frame with reinforced corner connections designed to keep the structure rigid and stable over time. This construction gives the fire pit a strong internal foundation while supporting the exterior cladding and finished top without relying on wood framing or lightweight stud assemblies.

Care and Maintenance

Keep the Firefly enclosure clean by wiping the exterior cladding and top surfaces with a soft cloth, mild soap, and water as needed. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or aggressive scrubbing that could damage the finish.

Periodically inspect the burner area, vents, and drainage openings for leaves, dirt, insects, or other debris that could restrict airflow or interfere with operation. Fire glass or other media should also be kept clear of burner ports.

If your fire pit uses natural gas or propane, have the fuel connections, burner, and ignition components inspected periodically by a qualified professional, especially after extended periods of non-use.

During severe weather or long periods without use, consider covering the fire pit with a properly ventilated outdoor cover once the unit is completely cool. Never cover the fire pit while it is operating or still hot.
Returns, Damage & Order Issues

Because Firefly fire pits are configured and prepared to order, please contact Lems Supply as soon as possible if you need to make a change to your order. Do not return the product or ship anything back without receiving return instructions first. Return eligibility, applicable fees, and shipping responsibilities will be confirmed before any return is authorized.

Freight shipments should be inspected carefully at delivery. Do not accept a shipment with obvious visible damage. If damage is discovered, photograph the packaging and product and document the issue with the carrier before the driver leaves whenever possible.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use natural gas or propane with this fire pit?

Yes. The Firefly 48" x 32" Rectangular Fire Pit can be configured for either natural gas or liquid propane. The fuel type must be selected when ordering so the correct burner can be supplied. Burners cannot be exchanged for a different fuel type after shipment.
Does the fire pit include the burner system?

The enclosure itself does not automatically include a burner system unless you select the appropriate burner package. Optional Warming Trends packages are available with a 36" x 12" burner pan, linear burner, and ignition components.
Is the top surface included?

No. EZ Finish no longer supplies granite tops with Firefly fire pits. The top should be sourced locally in stone, concrete, or another suitable outdoor material, giving you more flexibility to match the surrounding patio or outdoor kitchen.
Does it arrive fully assembled?

The enclosure arrives substantially assembled, with the frame, cladding, and any factory-installed venting prepared before shipment. The burner, hoses, valves, and gas connections are installed on site. Final gas connections should be completed by a qualified professional.
Does the fire pit need additional ventilation?

The Firefly base is designed with built-in venting. An optional FPVK vent kit can also be added when additional ventilation is required. Because venting needs can depend on the installation and fuel setup, a qualified installer should confirm what is appropriate for your project.
